Bandipora, Mar 29: Security forces today busted a militant hideout in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition.
The Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police and 14 Rashtriya Rifles launched a joint operation at Arin and Dardpora forests of Bandipora district after a specific information about a militant hideout was received.
Despite heavy rains and icy weather conditions troops searched the forest area and recovered large quantity of arms and ammunition that was buried under the ground.
The recovery includes 6 AK rifles, 6 magazines and over hundred AK rounds.
