JAMMU, Aug 2: Troops of 60 Rashtriya Rifles of Army and police today busted a hideout of the militants and recovered arms, ammunition and explosives in Kalaban forests of Chasana area in Reasi district.
Reports said a joint team of Rashtriya Rifles and police conducted a search operation in Kalaban forests this evening and made the recoveries from a natural cave hideout of the militants.
Recoveries made from the hideout included one AK-47 rifle, two magazines, three UBGL grenades, 20 rounds of Pika ammunition, 62 rounds of AK-47 and other ammunition, which had been dumped in the natural cave hideout by the militants earlier.
However, no arrests were made from the spot.
Police have registered a case in connection with the recoveries made from the hideout.
