Arjun Rampal launches trailer of ‘Daddy’ at Google headquarters

 

NEW DELHI:  Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal has unveiled the trailer of his upcoming film ‘Daddy’ at Google headquarters.

 Co-written and directed by Ashim Ahluwalia, ‘Daddy’ is a political crime drama based on the life of gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli.  The film stars Arjun, who also co-wrote the film, in the title role.  ”The true story of a man who stopped at nothing. Here’s the much-awaited #DaddyTrailer @DaddyRealStory @aishu_dil ,”Arjun tweeted after the release of the trailer last night.

 Earlier, in a tweet the actor said, ”Double special moment, visiting the Goggle headquarters at the same time launching the trailer for a very special film #Daddy.”

 The official teaser of the film was released on December 1 last year.

 ‘Daddy’ is presented by Eros International, Kundalini Entertainment and Karta Entertainment.

 The actor had unveiled the first poster of the film on social media yesterday.

 ”Ambition. Power. Mystery! Experience a sneak peek into the life of Daddy,” Arjun posted on Twitter.  ‘Daddy’, Arjun’s first biopic, also stars Farhan Akhtar and Aishwarya Rajesh in key roles.

 While Arjun plays Arun Gawli, Aishwarya Rajesh essays the role of Asha Gawli.

 The movie is an insight into the Mumbai underworld and tracks Arun Gawli’s journey from a gangster to a politician. (AGENCIES)
