JAMMU, Nov 15: APS BD Bari celebrated Annual Day which brought out the essence of cultural diversity and rich heritage of the Country.
The School showcased a power packed show, which commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Anita Yashpal, chairperson FWO as the guest of honour.
The annual report was read out by Neeta Rawal, Principal APS BD Bari enumerating the achievements made by the School in various curricular and co-curricular fetes during the Academic Session 2013-14 respectively.
The entire programme revolved around the theme “Udaan-the flight of happiness”.
An invocation to Goddess Durga with ravishing dance performance was presented by the students of the school providing an auspicious beginning to the event. It was followed by plethora of events like performance of students on traditional classical dance form “Kathak” on peppy dance no. “Mere Dholna”. The “Maine kahan phoolon se” dance was a worthy successor to the melodious & feet tapping “Give me a song to sing…” dance. Then came the upbeat “Festival Combo” dance.
The progamme ended with the vote of thanks.
