JAMMU, June 2: NCC Girls wing of APS Akhnoor today visited Government Primary School Garh Pardha.
A handout stated that APS Akhnoor has adopted this School for the year 2019-20.
Earlier in 2018-19, APS Akhnoor had adopted Govt High School Sonail and village Sonail while in the year 2017-18 they had adopted village and School Bardal Khrud wherein Govt Middle School Bardal Khrud was given furniture, chalk board, books, magazines etc.
Students of both Schools had exchange programmes and sports activities.
In Sonail village cleanness drive was launched and students had exchange programmes.
Girls’ teams of both schools played cricket at Government High School Sonail.
This year APS Akhnoor has adopted village Garh Pardha and Primary School there just to make them aware of various programmes.
ZEO Akhnoor, Nazneen Akhter was also present today when NCC students, ANO Anita Sharma, Vice Principal, Rakesh Chander and KCS Mehta, Principal APS Akhnoor visited the Primary School to meet students and handed over note books, colours, pencils, art kits to the students.
They also plan activities for the complete session.
