JAMMU, July 20: Bharat Bushan Arya president Arya Pratinidhi Sabha (APS) today expressed grave concern over the mob violence at Baltal on July 18.
In a statement issued here today he termed it an outcome of a very sorry state of affairs. He said totally mismanagement of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) as well as State Administration responsible for maintaining law and order situation enroute holy cave of Shri Amar Nath Ji has led to the problem.
He said had the timely steps been taken by authorities at Baltal, the violence could have saved the clashes, injuries to innocent yatris and torching of Langars .
It is not a sudden incident but appears to be a planned scheme of some vested interests not only to disrupt Yatra, which is gaining popularity day by day, but to harass a particular community, he added.
Arya Pratinidhi Sabha J&K strongly condemns the incident, show sympathy to the injured and request State Government to ensure safety and security of yatris enroute holy shrine of Shri Amarnath Ji and also pay compensation to the aggrieved for their financial losses and medical treatment .
