Apni Party DDC member remanded to police custody

SRINAGAR, July 5: A court in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district today remanded J&K Apni Party’s District Development Council (DDC) member to 10-day police custody in an alleged assault case.
As per details, the Chief Judicial Magistrate Bandipora remanded Ghulam Mohi-ud-din, who is a DDC Member from Arin Block of the district to 10 days police custody after he was booked following a complaint by the revenue officials who were allegedly assaulted by him.
The court has directed the police after granting the remand to speed up the investigation in the case.
