SAMBA, Nov 17: Additional Deputy Commissioner Samba, Dr. Arun Kumar Manhas has flagged of first ‘Apni Mandi’ at Tapyal Ghagwal here today.
The event was organized by the Area Marketing Officer Jammu, Arun Kumar Mansotra and Assistant Grading & Marketing Officer Samba, Khem Raj under the guidance of Director Horticulture (P&M), Syed Shahnawaz Ahmad Bukhari and Joint Director Horticulture (P&M), Digvijay Gupta. The Apni Mandi Tapyal is the farmers first Apni Mandi with the largest gathering from Agriculture/ Horticulture sector.
Over 200 farmers have attended the event and learned techniques of buying and selling through marketing and grading.
