APMCC, AMEK hold rally, warn to intensify agitation

JAMMU, Mar 21: Hundreds of migrant employees posted in Kashmir valley today held a rally organized by All Parties Migrant Coordination Committee (APMCC) and All Migrant Employees Kashmir (AMEK) here to register their protest and chalk out the future course of action.
The rally was organized by APMCC to discuss the steps taken and issues resolved by the Government regarding the return of migrant employees to the Valley who have lost faith in the system and do not feel a sense of security in Kashmir valley in prevailing circumstances.
The employees have given full support to APMCC and endorsed full support to it in its future struggle launched in this regard.
Vinod Pandit chairman APMCC and King C Bharti national spokesman APMCC were the key speakers during the rally which was also addressed among others by Rubon Suproo, Rakesh Pandita, Ranjan Jyotshi, Sanjay Koul, Ajay Baht, Kamal Pandita etc.
The employees said that on one hand Government was making fresh registration of migrants from Kashmir valley on the basis of security threat and on the other  the Kashmiri Pandit migrants were forced to resume their duties in Valley without taking appropriate steps for their safety and security. They warned to launch a major agitation in case the issue was not settled.
