JAMMU, July 26: An anti encroachment drive was conducted by the Jammu Development Authority (JDA) in village Majheen of Tehsil Jammu Khas wherein two concrete structures and two plinths were demolished, here today.
The drive was conducted by concerned Tehsildar JDA along Khilafwarzi wing under control of Director Land Management and over all supervision of Vice Chairman JDA. The drive was conducted in coordination with Police Department and District Administration Jammu especially SDPO and SHO Nagrota and Tehsildar Jammu Khas who were also present on the spot.
During the drive, encroachments were removed from the JDA lands falling under khasara numbers 119 min, 168 min and 171 min at village Majheen and total of three kanals JDA land was retrieved during the drive.
