Another spell of snowfall in HP’s Keylong

SHIMLA: Keylong and high reaches of Chamba, Lahaul Spiti and Kinnuar district experienced light to moderate spell of snowfall on Wednesday, the Met Office said.

Keylong, district headquarter of Lahaul Spiti had six cm snowfall, while the gateway to Lahaul Spiti district 13050 Rohtang Pass, Kuzum pass, Lady of Keylong, 7’s sister hills, Goshal hill, Barlachaha, Sachpass of Chamba, high reaches of Manieshi ranges Kinner and Shrikhand Kailash ranges of Kinnuar  experienced light to moderate spell of snowfall.

Tourist resort Dalhousie had five mm rainfall, Manali and Chamba two mm. This capital town was partly cloudy in the day. However, the night temperature was two to three degrees above normal in the state.

The Met Office said that rain or snowfall likely to occur at few places in the high reaches today and tomorrow and isolated places in the mid hills. The weather likely to be inclement and cloudy for nest four days as on December 11 and 12, the state is likely to have rain or snowfall at many places in all over the state.

Minimum temperature of Keylong was minus 1.4 degrees, Kalpa two degrees, Dalhousie 5.4 degrees, Manali six degrees Solan 6.6 degrees, Sunderngar and Mnadi seven degrees, Kufir 7.3 degrees , Bhuntar 7.6 degrees, Dharmshala 8.2 degrees, Palampur 8.5 degrees, Bilasur nine degrees, Hamirpur 9.3 degrees, Una and Chamba 9.7 degrees each, Shimla 10 degrees,  Kangra 11 degrees and Nahan in Sirmaur 11.7 degrees respectively .
