JAMMU, June 5: Another Jammu youth has cleared the Civil Services examination, result of which was declared by UPSC, New Delhi recently.
Akhil Mahajan, son of Rakesh Kumar (Businessman) and Urmil Gupta (House wife), resident of Nai Basti, Satwari, Jam-mu has secured 213 rank. Akhil cleared the IAS in fourth attempt.
Majahan, a B Tech in Electronics and Communic-ation from Jawahar Lal Technical University, Hyderabad, got a job offer from Microsoft but rejected it and went to New Delhi and started his preparations for the Civil Services examination. He gives credit for this feat to his parents who fully supported him during his this journey.
