JAMMU, Feb 11: The Nirwan Divas of Jagat Mata Roop Bhawani was solemnized with traditional fervour and zeal at Mata Roop Bhawani Temple, Tirath Nagar, Talab Tilloo, here.
A yagya, popularly known as ‘Ved Hawan’ was organized under the guidance and supervision of learned Brahamans amid chanting of ‘shalokas’ and recitation of ‘vakhs’ from Mata Roop Bhawani Rahsyaupdesh and other holy scriptures.
After the recitation of ‘Arti’, ‘puran ahuti’ was reverentially offered by the ardent devotees on the occasion.
The environment was surcharged with divinity, signaling the presence of the Celestial being. The devotees looked completely submerged in mystic absorption.
Meanwhile, a CD titled ‘Gyan Amrit’ composed and prepared by noted lyrist PN Sayil and sung by Ashok Raina was released on behalf of SAST by the patrons Moti Lal Dhar and Brij Lal Dhar in presence of a large number of devotees on the occasion.
Finally, the celebration culminated with the distribution of ‘prashad’ among the devotees.
