JAMMU, Nov 25: After the successful culmination of Annual Bhairav Bhandara which followed weeklong festivity of Bhairav Ashtami, the spiritual blessings of the Deity shall be showered on devotees through ‘Annual Dhand Fanda’ tomorrow from 7:00 pm onwards at ancient Bhairav Mandir in Chowk Chabutra here.
Chief Priest at the Shrine, Pandit Rumil Sharma informed that ‘Annual Dhand Fanda’ attains eminence due to the fact that the Mace (Dhand) is worshipped throughout the year and is picked up only once after the annual Bhandara.
He also informed that there is a strong belief that devotees undergoing Dhand Fanda are relieved of all the pains and sufferings.
“The Dhand Fanda also lessen adversary effects, if any, of respective planetary conditions and helps in curing old chronic ailments besides effects of evil curse (Opri Badha).
Thousands of devotees throng every year for participating in Dhand Fanda ceremony to lead a happy life.
