Annual Chhari Yatra to Mata Vaishno Devi to leave on Oct 9

SAMBA, Oct 5: Shiv Sena (SS), Bal Thackeray will take the annual Chhari Yatra to holy Shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi during the Navratras from M A Stadium, Jammu on October 9 evening.
This was stated by Dimpy Kholi, president of SS at a press conference at Bari Brahmana today.
He said this is the 36th Chari Yatra being organized this yatra. He said Raj Singh, State secretary of the Sena will be incharge of the yatra for Bari Brahmana area. He also made an appeal to people of Bari Brahmana to vote for Sena candidates in the ensuing ULB elections by casting their vote in favour of Rakesh Thappa from Ward No 6 and Karam Chand for Ward No 13.
Ashwani Gupta Working president of the Sena said this year a grand progamme will be organized while flagging off the Chhari yatra. He appealed the people of entire Jammu region especially from Bari Brahmana and R S Pura to participate in large numbers in this year’s yatra.
While addressing the chairman of SS, Vipin Hindu said the Shiv Sena feels proud in organizing the Charri Yatra every year. He said people of R S Pura were taking part in the yatra in large numbers over these years.
Rakesh Kak, general secretary of Sena said his organization will provide all facilities to the devotees like food, water, medical, accommodation etc free of cost.
Other senior leaders who were present were SanjeevKumar, Nathpal Chowdhery, Sanjeev Sharma, Ramesh Koul ,Sanjeev Kohli, JarnailSingh, Ramesh Gupta and Pawan Singh.
