JAMMU, Dec 5: Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS) is going to launch indefinite sit-in protest if the Government failed to declare holiday on the birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh.
This was informed by Rajan Singh Happy, President YRS while interacting with media persons here today.
He said that their demand of declaring holiday on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh is supported by various organizations including Chambers of Commerce and Industries President Arun Gupta, Jammu Bar Association President Mohinder Bhardwaj, Dogra Sadar Sabha President Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman Team Jammu Zorawar Singh, Chairman Gujjar Charitable Trust Advocate Shah Mohammad, Sikh Federation’s Avtar Singh Khalsa, President All Transport Association Jammu Province Vijay Singh Chib, All Transport Associaiton Vice Chairman Mohinder Singh Khalsa, etc.
“It is genuine demand of all Jammuties and the administration should take positive step to announce official holiday on the birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh which falls on September 23”, Rajan Singh said.
“If our demand of holiday is not redressed within five days, YRS will install tents at the statue of Maharaja Hari Singh from December 10, 2021 and will launch indefinite sit-in day and night protest until the administration declare holiday on 23rd September”, Rajan Singh Happy informed.
Chairman Raghubir Singh, Core Committee members and all Yuva Rajput Sabha team were present during the press conference.
