JAMMU, Oct 23: Terming yesterday’s court order for registration of FIR against all members of Special Investigating Team (SIT) in Rassana case as a big development, IkkJutt Jammu chief Ankur Sharma today demanded a CBI probe to bring to justice all conspirators in the case.
Addressing a press conference here today, Ankur Sharma said that all those who dubbed people of Jammu as rapists and supporters of rapists, lost their faces yesterday as a Court of Law in unambiguous terms ordered registration of FIR against all the six SIT members of Crime Branch of Jammu and Kashmir Police, including then SSP Ramesh Jalla, (now Retd.), Additional SP Naveed Peerzada, (now on UN assignment), DySP Shwetambari Sharma, (HQ), DySP Nissar Ahmed, SI Urfan Wani and SI Kewal Kishore.

The court allowed the complaint of the aggrieved parties/ witnesses that they were tortured in custody, criminally intimidated and coerced to create false evidence.
Ankur Sharma further said that the registration of the FIR against the SIT members was a tight slap on the face of the Lutyens media who repeatedly termed as supporters of rapists those who were demanding a thorough CBI probe into the whole sinister plot so that the world could know the whole truth. “Indeed, the Lutyens media played a foul game with the innocent lives and hastened the process of their unwarranted detention / arrests / torture / humiliation,” he said and demanded unconditional apology from the biased, irrational and intolerant media.
IkkJutt Jammu chairman asserted that the acquittal of Vishal Jangotra by the Pathankot trial court and registration of FIR against the SIT members are two major developments which should leave none in any doubt that SIT was acting as a collaborator of Jihadi forces then led by CM Mehbooba Mufti to promote jihadist agenda and create in Jammu province a Kashmir like situation.
Ankur Sharma urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to order a CBI probe into the matter so that the people of Jammu heave a sigh of relief. Others present on the occasion were Harish Kapoor, Ashwani Sharma and Tarun Sharma, Advocate.
