Anjuman-e-Imamia urges people to maintain brotherhood

JAMMU, Jan 1: A meeting of Anjuman-e-Imamia Jammu was held at its head office in which the members of the Anjuman appealed the people to maintain brotherhood.
Addressing the meeting, Porf Sujat Khan (general secretary Anjuman) said that on behalf of society in general and Muslim community in particular, he condemns the act in which a mosque was vandalized by miscreants in MP.
“We appeal the Government to identify these culprits and brought them to book at the earliest. We appeal the people to maintain brotherhood and not to get carried away by such incidents as these incidents are done by some elements at behest of some politicians having vested interests.
Prof Sujat Khan further condemned vandalism of a historic Hindu temple in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkwa province and appealed the Central Government to highlight these type of acts on international platform as rights to worship should be secured by the respective Governments.
