UNA (HP), Apr 19: Bureau chief of PTI Jammu Anil Bhat was awarded Amar Shaheed Lala Jagat Narayan memorial award for excellence in Journalism by the Himachal Pradesh Governor, Acharya Devvrat, who presented National Integration awards to 7 distinguished personalities at 42 nd annual State level ceremony here.

Bureau chief of PTI Jammu Anil Bhat was awarded Amar Shaheed Lala Jagat Narayan memorial award for excellence in Journalism at the function by HP Governor. The award has been instituted in the name of founder of Punjab Kesri group of newspapers, Lala Jagat Narayan who was assassinated by militants in Punjab 1981. He was also a former Minister and MP.
