ANANTNAG: In view of the coming holy month of Ramzan, Minister of State for Haj & Auqaf, PHE, PDD and Industries & Commerce, Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi, Saturday evening conducted an extensive tour of Anantnag and Mattan towns of Anantnag district to take stock of general facilities made available in the towns for the upcoming holy month of Ramzan.
Visiting various locations in the towns, including Lal Chowk, Cheni Chowk, Mattan Adda, and Janglat Mandi, Andrabi directed for ensuring availability of all basic facilities besides repairing of defunct street lights and installing high mast lamps wherever required at public places.
Visiting the Child Care and Maternity Hospital, the Minister interacted with doctors and patients and enquired about medical facilities made available in the hospital. He directed the concerned Medical Superintendent to ensure availability of all facilities in the hospital during the holy month.
On the occasion, Andrabi also paid homage at the holy shrine of Reshi Moul Sahab (R.A), where he interacted with the management of the Shrine and assured them that all their concerns will be addressed on priority.
The Minister was accompanied by DC Anantnag, Chief Engineer PDD, SSP Anantnag, SEs of R&B and PDD, senior officers concerned municipalities among other concerned officers.
