This has a reference to the write up of Dr K N Pandita. “The verdict when it comes” DE April 19,2014. The write-up is a rational and scientific study of present political situation of the country viz-a-viz elections 2014. It is informative, educative and the realistic one. The way the UPA I and II conducted their affairs has rightly been termed the Private Limited Company. These Governments remained concerned about their own survival in the seat of power than the nation and its future. The UPA Government for the last two consecutive terms played Pro-Minority Card which made Muslims feel suspicious about the credibility of UPA Government. UPA also chose to polarize the nation along communal lines with its inconsiderate moves. They also called the BJP Prime Ministerial candidate “Modi”as poison and destroyer of Muslims. The learned writer correctly comments such treatment of UPA Government are an open insult to the countrymen who are committed to democracy. His (the author’s) observation that the change which the people of the country want is fundamental and not superficial. Thus is very much correct and a ground reality. This visible and inevitable change is a writing on the wall that the replacement of the culture of dynastic rule in post independence era is the need of the times.
