JAMMU, Feb 22: Managing Director J&K SIDCO Amit Sharma talked at length about upgradation of skills in eGovernance domain for ensuring success in “Make in India” and “Start-up India” campaigns by utilizing immense IT-talent of J&K State which has largely remained unutilized till date.
All such views were shared by MD SIDCO during his address in multiple panel discussions of three-day 19th Express Technology Sabha which concluded at Kochi, wherein he was invited as an eGovernance expert.
A galaxy of eGov experts from all across the nation participated in this prestigious Summit and expressed their views relating to taking forward the mission of eGovernance all across the board in India. The list of expert speakers included lot of civil servants, PSU heads, police chiefs, entrepreneurs, IT specialists and corporate haunches. MD SIDCO Amit Sharma happened to participate in two panel discussions relating to Smart Electronic Service Delivery (ESD) and Availability of Skilled Resources for Fulfilling the Dream of Digital India. CEO JAKeGA Saadut Hussain also participated alongwith him in second panel discussion.
It is worthwhile to mention here that the gamut of eGov experts alongwith Amit Sharma resolved towards bringing more quality and utilizing untapped talent of places like J&K in making this Digital India mission a success.
A similar success story was shared by Dr Shalini Rajneesh, Principal Secretary, Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka, who shared a video presentation about her novel initiatives relating to successful ESD model of her department in Karnataka state during first panel discussion in this Technology Summit.
Before conclusion, MD SIDCO Amit Sharma requested Indian Express Group to organize such Summits in J&K for exposing public towards latest eGov practices towards which they agreed to and further informed that on similar lines, they are going to organize a One-day Conference on March 2, in Jammu and also share latest eGov practices with young budding IT-talent of J&K.
