JAMMU, Oct 25: The residents of Chruch Lane Amit Nagar Muthi have expressed grave concern over the deteriorating condition of lane and drains in the area.
The residents in an appeal have sought immediate attention of the Minister of Health and Medical Education, Bali Bhagat who represents the Constituency to issue directives to concerned authorities to construct the lane and drains in the area.
The appeal was made through T N Bhat a social activist. He said that the lane is in dilapidated condition as no steps were taken by the civic body to construct it after the area was included in Jammu Municipal Corporation in 2005. The lane was constructed over 15 years back when the area was under Rural Development Department and since then no attention was paid for the development of the area. During the rainy season the lane turns into a cesspool of water making it difficult to move from there.
