JAMMU, Nov 24: All Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) in a meeting here, today under the chairmanship of B L Koul its vice chairman while accusing Pakistan of trying to destabilize India by sending armed desperados inside our territory after resorting to border shelling to give cover to militants has demanded that enemy nation be given a befitting reply for its misadventures so that it can’t dare for centuries together to raise its ugly head.
The meeting also opposed any kind of dialogue with Pakistan and took those leaders to task who advocate dialogue between India and Pakistan over Kashmir issue. The meeting said not only Kashmir but PoK belongs to India and GoI should in unequivocal terms ask Pakistan to vacate that portion forcibly occupied by it.
The meeting which was also addressed by AMCCC chief Desh Rattan warned against visit of Sartaj Aziz to Amritsar and said that AMCCC will protest against the same.
AMCCC leaders M M Kanth, K V, R L Sharma, M L Munshi, K S Bedi, Inderjeet Labroo, Bittu Ji Bhat and Daizy Bhat said that Kashmiri leaders should clear their stand on the return and rehabilitation of seven lakh Pandits in Valley who have faced odds since 1947 due to negative role of these leaders.
The meeting said that KPs leading an exiled life for last 27 years have been ignored in all spheres as they have not been given any benefit of the government schemes or representation in various legislative bodies.
It said the Pandits are losing over Rs 5000 crore every year on account of loss of agriculture and horticulture produce and no benefit of any scheme has been extended to them meant for promotion of agriculture and horticulture in Valley. Besides, no CDF is spent in the colonies inhabited by migrants or the migrant camps for their development.
