JAMMU, Mar 16: The 86th Jayanti of Kanshi Ram was celebrated by the Bishnah Unit of Ambedkar Sena with great enthusiasm and fervor.
The event that coincided with the Save Constitution Divas was presided over by Ramesh Sarmal, State President of the Ambedkar Sena.
The venue was beautifully decorated with blue banners and flags, and many artists presented their tribute to the great leader of the era.
Tarsem Lal Khullar, UT Chairman of the Ambedkar Sena and Vice-President, Jammu Province, NC was the Chief Guest at the function.
He addressed the huge gathering and urged them to be united and vigilant for the sake of their Constitutional Rights, which are being snatched away by way of making Constitutional amendments in the Indian Constitution. He paid floral tributes and homage to Kanshi Ram and suggested adopting the way shown by Baba Sahib Dr BR Ambedkar.
R K Kalsotra, State President of All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisations & DOM, also graced the occasion and paid tribute to Kanshi Ram. He highlighted Kanshi Ram’s contribution towards political empowerment to SC, ST, OBC, and Minority communities.
Special guests, Saras Bharti and Sonu Heer, who are internationally famous missionary artists, also performed musical songs, highlighting the struggle of Kanshi Ram.
The event concluded with Ramesh Sarmal, President of the Ambedkar Sena, presenting the vote of thanks to all participants.
