NEW DELHI, June 4: Aluminium prices fell 0.18 per cent to Rs 112.65 per kg in futures trade today after traders reduced their exposure amid weak global cues.
Besides, sluggish demand in the domestic spot market weighed.
At Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in July eased 20 paise, or 0.18 per cent, to Rs 112.65 per kg in a business turnover of just 1 lot.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in June contracts traded lower by 10 paise, or 0.09 per cent, to Rs 111.20 per kg in 52 lots.
Marketmen said the weakness in aluminium in futures trade is mostly in line with a weak trend in the metal at the London Metal Exchange (LME) as the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) lowered its global growth forecast. (PTI)
