NEW DELHI, June 19: Aluminium prices eased further by 0.33 per cent to Rs 151.95 per kg in futures market today as speculators pared their positions, tracking a weak trend at the spot market on fall in demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in July month declined by 50 paise, or 0.33 per cent to Rs 151.95 per kg in business turnover of 3 lots.
In similar fashion, the metal for delivery in June contracts shed 25 paise, or 0.16 per cent to Rs 152.20 per kg in 236 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by traders due to slump in demand from consuming industries in the physical market kept aluminium prices down at futures trade. (PTI)
