JAMMU, May 13: Motor Parts Dealers Association here today has urged upon the district administration that their shops at Transport Nagar in Narwal should be allowed to open for four hours a day alternatively.
In a handout Association President, Rajinder P. Kakkar stated that shopkeepers of spare parts are law abiding citizens and they have been cooperating with the authorities for the last two months.
The Association also said that they deal with owners of oil tankers, fresh supplier, essential carriers as well as Government vehicles.
“Owners of the vehicles which have gone off the roads due to snags have insisted us to supply spare parts so the vehicles with snags can be brought on roads,” the Association president stated seeking permission to open spare part shops.
