JAMMU, July 2: All J&K Revenue Employees Coordination Committee held a meeting under the chairmanship of Mushtaq Ahmed Ganai Provincial President Jammu.
In the meeting, various burning issues were discussed in detailed.
The participants demanded promotion of Tehsildars, nonfunctional grade to Tehsildar, infrastructures for the office and residential purpose, vehicles to all the Executive Magistrates, infrastructure related to E-revenue services, fulfill shortage of man power and staff, online and offline services must run simultaneously till the digital infrastructure will reach every nook and corner, DPCs of Naib Tehsildar, revision of grade pay of revenue officials i.e Niab Tehsildar, Girdawars and patwaris.
They also demanded stop to the direct recruitment of Naib Tehsildar, annual recruitment of Patwaris, creation of Patwar halqas, technical grade pay to Patwaris, timely DPC of clerical staff, regularize the settlement assistants as full time Patwaris and absorption of employees working for more than 15 years as class 4th employees and target of digitalization of jamabandis should be given to the officials keeping in view of their potential and availability.
The meeting was attended by General Secretary state Khurshid Ahmed Tantary, Rajesh Kumar Barhi UT Secretary, Ramesh Kumar Bakshi Province General Secratary, Akbar hussain Chief Organizer, Yash Paul sharma Secretary Province, Kalim Ahmed Organizer, Kuldeep Raj Sharma treasurer and all other basic members.
The participants of the meeting requested to Commissioner Secretary/ FCR to look into the issues for redressal.
