All J&K Diploma Engineers Association holds meet

JAMMU, Sept 26: The Central Body of All J&K Diploma Engineers Association Jammu held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Upinder Singh and held discussion on the recent decision of the administration of unbundling of Power Development Department (PDD).
A large number of Diploma Engineers from the rank of Junior Engineer to Executive Engineer participated in the meeting.
Jaipal Sharma, President PDD Unit of the Association apprised the members about the pros and cons of the decision that many follow due to unbundling and expressed his resentment against the administration for ignoring the Association from expressing their point over the matter.
He said that Association has always made the pragmatic approach towards the innovative ideas and decisions taken in the interest of the public.
Upinder Singh urged upon the Government to take the Association on board to allay the fear among the cadre and employees, which has cropped up due to the decision. He added that the Association has always stood by all the decision taken by the administration in the past also and also assured the administration of its full cooperation in smooth transition of the process.
Among others present were Anil Gupta, Chairman, JS Rathore Convener, Sanjay Koul, Sanjay Sharma and Narinder Singh.
