JAMMU, Apr 25: A separate province level unit purely of daily rated workers of PHE Department under the name and style of “All Daily Wagers’ Unit, Jammu Province’ was constituted today under the aegis of PHE Workers’ Welfare Association (PHEWWA), Jammu Province.
The names of the members of the newly elected body were announced by Subhash Verma, general secretary, PHEWWA and State president, BMS. The body comprised of Ravi Kumar as president, Irshad Hussain Beg as general secretary, Neel Kumar as senior vice-president, Satish Kumar as secretary, Vikram Kerni as organizing secretary, Puran Chand as treasurer and Vishaw Duleey as press secretary.
While briefing to the media persons, Subhash Verma said that the new unit called as PHE Workers Welfare Association, All Daily Wagers’ Unit, Jammu province, was constituted as per the aspiration of the workers considering the suggestions of the members of the Association. He said that the unit will independently look into the affairs of only daily wagers of the PHE Department.
