JAMMU, Oct 16: Alert has been sounded in the areas falling under the jurisdiction of Miran Sahib Police Station after theft of a gun from a house.
As per police sources, a man namely Jasbir Singh, son of Kikar Singh of Ward No 1, Simble Camp lodged a complaint with Police Station Miran Sahib stating that some unknown person(s) entered into his house and decamped with his licenced 12 bore gun.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 142/19 under section 457 and 380 RPC has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and hunt has been launched to arrest the thieve(s).
Meanwhile, alert has been sounded in the areas falling under the jurisdiction of Miran Sahib Police Station after the theft of gun.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
