JAMMU, Feb 18: Asha Kiran Welfare Society (AKWS) here today distributed blankets and various ration items to more than 100 widows and other needy people in Janipur Colony.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Dr. J.P Gupta, chairman AKWS; Jaswant Manhas, vice president; Kamal Netar, general secretary; Hari Chand Sharma, joint secretary; Vinod Kumar, organization secretary; Bodh Raj Sharma, Sriniwas Abrol, Raju Mahajan, Ashok Verma, Sunil Vaid, Subash Dutta and Surinder Bali.
A handout of AKWS stated that all the COVID-19 protocols like social distancing, face masks etc were followed in the distribution process.
