JAMMU, Sept 7: All Jammu and Kashmir State, Akali Dal has shown its concern over the unplugged flaws in administration of GMC, Hospital, Bakshi Nagar, due to lack of prompt treatment which is required for patients in the hour of need.
Meanwhile, State Akali Dal president Gajan Singh has given some valuable suggestions in the hospital system which included to create trauma center in the hospitals for the efficient treatment to accident patients, immediate commencement of treatment without giving priority to the accomplishing of MLC formalities, fixing the responsibilities on every employee and proper and effective patrolling of police around the clock at all vital installations and important chowks in the city.
Other suggestions given by it to reduce accidents in the city pertained to installing speed-radars in sensitive areas to control rash driving in the city by traffic police.
Akali Dal has also suggested immediate ban on private practice by Government doctors and strict action by traffic police against violaters of traffic light signals, which can be cause of accidents.
Akali Dal has condemned the total failure of the system which was solely responsible for the untimely and unnatural death of 26 years old youth, namely Harmeet Singh in hospital.
