JAMMU, July 10: A delegation of All Jammu and Kashmir Patwar Association (AJKPA) led by its Provincial President Mushtaq Ahmed Ganai met DC Jammu Rajeev Ranjan and Nisar Ahmed Shad, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Jammu.
The delegation apprised them about the various problems being faced by the patwar fraternity particularly due to the new trend of attendance of the field staff at tehsil office.
DC Jammu gave patient hearing and gave directions that the field staff shall not attend the tehsil office on daily basis for attendance but only on the days prescribed as per the circular issued by Finance Commissioner Revenue.
DC said that only Tehsildar will ensure the presence of the filed staff in their respective halqas. He added that the field staff should ensure early and proper disposal of the displaced persons compensation files.
DC also discussed the targets of jamabandies with Assistant Commissioner Revenue Jammu and told the Provincial President AJKPA Mushtaq Ahmed Ganai to give priority to the Government works and provide services to the public and work for the welfare of the society.
In the end, Mushtaq Ahmed Ganai presented vote of thanks.
