JAMMU, Nov 17: In a two-day session organized at Revenue Training Institute Jammu, All J&K Patwar Association (AJKPA) discussed working of its State, provincial and district bodies.
The session was presided over by State president of AJKPA, Sajad Siddiq and attended by all the members of the State body, provincial bodies of Jammu and Kashmir and all district presidents.
On the very 1st day of the session, constitutional amendments were discussed threadbare. Some executive members were inducted into the State body and were given oath on the spot. The constitution of AJKPA was discussed chapter wise in the session and some necessary amendments were incorporated in the constitution after threadbare discussion and voting.
The 2nd day of the session was reserved to review the progress of district units, province bodies and State body. All district presidents of the State, Kashmir province president, Fayaz Ahmad Baba and Jammu province president, Mohd Farooq, presented the progress of their units and put forth the problems faced by the members.
State president, Sajad Siddiq, passed on spot directions to all the district presidents and province presidents to make the association more vibrant, powerful and successful. It was impressed upon all the district presidents to conduct monthly meetings on scheduled dates strictly. Regarding the charter of demands, State president said that the same will be resolved very soon.
