JAMMU, Feb 22: All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) affiliated with Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Maha Sangh held State Executive meeting here, today. The meeting was chaired by its State president, Devraj Thakur and State general secretary, Rattan Sharma.
The agenda of the meeting was to discuss and strengthen the organizational set up of AJKLTF in all districts of Jammu region and in order to carry forward this basic agenda the district body of district Jammu got reconstituted.
Shashikant Lakhanpal (lecturer) was nominated as Sangrakshak, Romit Kumar as district president, Rahul Sharma was re-nominated as district secretary and Naresh Manhas as vice president.
Moreover, detailed discussion took place regarding the future course of action and it was decided that all the districts of Jammu region will have to reconstitute their respective district units by the end of April this year. Beside , the district units were asked to organize “Zila Samelans” and “Mahila Samelans” as well.
