JAMMU, Feb 20: A deputation of All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) called on the Advisor to Governor Pervez Dewan in his office chamber, New Secretariat, Jammu, today.
The deputation was led by Maheshwar Parsad, working president and Mohan Singh, president of the Federation, who brought three points into notice of the Advisor for streamlining the Education Department.
They said that material in books of State Board of School Education was sub-standard. The Federation demanded that full syllabus of CBSE and books should be recommended for Government School of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Federation also apprised the Advisor about the attachments made in the Directorate of School Education and sought immediate detachment of such officials.
The deputation comprised of Derminder Singh, Shivdev Singh, Krishan Kumar, Pardeep Kumar, Dinesh Bharti and Neeraj Sharma.
