AJKLTF apprises Bali Bhagat about education scenario in his constituency

JAMMU, Feb 10: A deputation of Bhalwal unit of All Jammu Kashmir  and Ladakh  Teacher Federation,    called  on    MLA Raipur  Domana  and  Health  and Medical Education Minister,  Bali Bhagat  at  his  official residence  to discuss  the   problems   being faced by  the  teacher and students  in his constituency Raipur Domana.
The delegation was led by  Anil Sharma, Jeeva Kant,   Mohan Singh  and  Arun Sharma, informed the minister that most  of  the teachers posted  in his  constituency  are  from other areas while  the Masters  of his own constituency were working in far  flung  area  or  forced to be on leave  for the last 5-10months. In certain cases like that of  Master  Suram Chand,  who has  obtained  standby Medical board  certificate  but  not  adjusted   any where  and he  is  now on leave  for the last 10 months, they added.
Federation also brought  into notice of  the Minister  that number of Government schools in his constituency were being run from  unsafe  building, like M/S Bhalwal and GGMS Bhalwal, which need immediate renovation. Further, the delegation informed, free supply  of  books  never  reaches  to  the  school in time and thus students  are not able to  timely cover  the  syllabus.
Federation also  said  that Master’s promoted  in February  2014  have  not  yet been adjusted  where  as  about  3000 posts  of Master  are lying  vacant. Teacher working under SSA, RMSA, MPS are also not getting the salary in time.
Bali  Bhagat  patiently listened  to the deputation  and  assured  that  he would talk  to  Education Minister   Naeem Akhter  and  try  his best  to  get   salary  of  Teachers working  under SSA, RMSA, NPS  released. He also assured to take up the issue of adjustment of 2014  promoted  Master  and renovation of school buildings.
The deputation comprised of Maheswar Prasad, Ajay Dogra, Suresh Sawhney, Vikas Sharma , Pritam Chand, Prithvi Raj, Parshotam, Kuldeep Singh, Kewal, Farooq Ahmed, Raj Salotra  and  Showkat Ali.
