JAMMU, Oct 6: Pushpa Sadhotra, 82, mother of senior NC leader and former Minister Ajay Sadhotra breathed her last tonight after a prolonged illness. She was 82.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters. Her cremation will take place at Shastri Nagar Cremation Ground at 1 pm tomorrow. The funeral procession will leave from Sadhotra’s 82/2, Trikuta Nagar Residence at 12-30 pm.
Soon after her death a large number of NC leaders and activists visited Mr Sadhotra’s residence to convey their condolences to bereaved family.
Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has condoled her sad demise. In his condolence message to the bereaved family Mr Abdullah expressed solidarity with it and prayed for the peace to the departed soul.
