UDHAMPUR, Mar 22: All India Students Federation (AISF) District unit Udhampur today paid rich tributes to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their 87th death anniversary.
A programme in this regard was held at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park Udhampur, under the leadership of State Council Member Com Sanjay Kotwal. A large number of school and college students took part in the programme and paid their tributes.
Com Sanjay also delivered a speech and threw light on ideology of these martyrs. He urged the Government to pass BNEGA Act (Bhagat Singh National Employment Guarantee Act) so that each and every unemployed may get employment. He also demanded Bharat Ratan for Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
On this occasion, new District Council was declared with Com. Sanjay Kotwal as Distt president, Surjeet Rana, Sat Paul, Pardeep Kumar, Malivika Sharma, Shavani Sharma, Seema Devi, Arshad Mohad, Rohit Sharma, Suraj Singh Kotwal and Rajinder Sharma as Distt Council Members.
