Air traffic resumes from Srinagar airport

SRINAGAR: Air traffic was resumed from Srinagar International Airport following improvement in visibility after remaining affected yesterday due to fresh snowfall.

However, morning flights were delayed due to poor visibility.

“Air traffic was resumed from Srinagar airport following improvement in the visibility,” an official of the airport told UNI today.

Due to poor visibility no flight operate could operate initially, he said, adding that as the day progressed, visibility improved  and all the flights were able to operate from the airport.

As many as 15 flights operate from the airport between Srinagar, Jammu and New Delhi as per schedule. (AGENCIES)
