Jammu is a centrally located place surrounded by huge population living in far flung areas of the division. Howing braved all the odds of infilteration across the borders. Jammuites have seen all along discriminated in many sectors.
Let us visualize our Health Sector about which things are exaggerated much but on the ground we find no positive change. Recently Govt of India has announced that AIMS will be soon opened in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. Jammuites have times and again pleaded their concern with regard to opening of AIMS in Jammu. Jammu has no other Institution like SKIMS in Kashmir. Now Govt of India has decided that AIMS will be established in Kashmir and IIT, IIM will be for Jammu province. It looks gross injustice with Jammu province. Jammu people have suffered a lot with regard to their health. They cannot afford to more outside so far as their health check ups an concerned. Let the Govt of India reconsider the decision with regard to opening of AIMS so that Jammuites aspirations are taken into account. All the people of the State will be benefitted.
