AIJKBOO becomes first registered union of J&K Bank officers

JAMMU, Apr 16: Taking inspiration from Maharaja Hari Singh Ji, the founder of Jammu and Kashmir Bank (JKB) Ltd, All India J&K Bank Officers Organization (AIJKBOO) has been constituted by right thinking officers of JKB in October 2020 to establish the legitimacy, accountability, propriety, legal sanctity and brotherhood in unionism of banking sector in J&K in general and JKB in particular.
A handout stated that AIJKBOO has become the first registered officers union of JKB having its registered office in Jammu.
AIJKBOO has resolved to work for uniting the officers of JKB for extending ‘Responsive Cooperation’ to the management of JKB for betterment of the bank thereby securing the legitimate rights of officers of bank.
“AIJKBOO welcomes the positive changes being observed in work culture and practices of the bank for quite some time now, which reflected in the successful completion of transparent recruitment drive for 1500 Banking Associates and 350 Probationary Officers in the bank,” the handout maintained.
It further informed that AIJKBOO is formulating its expansion plans and soon the membership drive will be started to expand the base of right thinking officers of the bank for collectively working under the banner of AIJKBOO.
“AIJKBOO will serve as the milestone in unionism of banking sector in J&K by taking officers fraternity of all banks working in J&K along for achieving the bigger common goals while keeping national interest in forefront,” it claimed.
