AIBCU flays Govt

JAMMU, Dec 30: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) in its meeting here today held under the chairmanship of its president, Abdul Majid Malik discussed the working of OBC leaders of different political parties in particular and other leaders in general.
Speakers condemned the OBC leaders of the political parties who have failed to raise their voice for the constitutional rights of the OBC in the State. These leaders are misleading the members of OBCs that they are working for their cause, they added.
Speakers dared such OBC leaders that if they were really working for the interest of the OBCs they would have raised their issue in the Assembly and Parliament.
Criticizing the working of coalition partners speakers said it is not working in the interests of public. He termed their tall claims only hollow as these slogans don’t feed the major chunk of State OBCs whose population is over 50 percent in the State.
Speakers further said that the people have lost their faith in these leaders as their working style is not in conformity with socialism and justice.
They made an appeal to OBCs to be united and give a tough fight to such leaders in forthcoming elections.
Those who addressed the meeting included Swaran Singh, Sandokh Chand, Mushtaq Ahmed, Shabir Ahmed Teli, Puran Chargotra, Master Sain Dass, Prof Kali Dass, Mouj Sharma, and Raj Kumar.
