Army flags off Sadbhavna tour

RAJOURI, Dec 30 :       A motivational tour for 25 civilians and entrepreneurs hailing from remote and far flung areas of district Rajouri was flagged off from Kalakote today.
The tour is being organised by Rashtriya Rifles battalion, based at Kalakote, under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force Uniform to Amritsar, Chandigarh and Palampur (Himachal Pradesh).
The tour will be visiting cottage and small scale industries at Amritsar and Baddi (Himachal Pradesh). They will also visit Palampur which has achieved near green revolution in various fields of agriculture and will get unique opportunity to interact with their counter parts and officials of various civic bodies to gain first hand information on the activities being undertaken by them so as to undertake similar measures in transforming their own methods and practices into an absolute self reliant.
They will visit important historical places like Golden Temple, Jalianwala Bagh and Wagah Border in Amritsar, Rock Garden, Rose Garden and Sukhna Lake at Chandigarh, Tashi Jang Monestary, Tea Garden and Dhauladhar National Park at Palampur.
