AIBCU demands 27 percent reservations for OBCs

JAMMU, May 22: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) while welcoming the Government decision to scrap the new recruitment policy said that the credit goes to the organization which mobilized the public opinion against the anti youth policy.
The Union in its meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of its general secretary, Prof Kali Dass urged the Government to accept the genuine demands of the Union which includes the implementation of 27 per cent reservation for State OBCs due since 1992 after Apex Court ‘s judgment on Mandal report.
Speakers appealed the State OBCs to go ahead with their agenda to propagate their due demands among the masses to make the best use of their valuable votes in the forthcoming Assembly elections due in November this year.
Others who addressed the meeting included Sandokh Chand, Swarn Singh, T R Chargotra, Mushtaq Ahmed , Shabir Ahmed, Mohammed Shakeel Malik, Master Sain Dass, Puran Chargotra.
