AIBCS for reconsidering their old demands

JAMMU, July 28: All India Backward Classes Union Social (AIBCUS) retreated its old pending demands which are for due consideration since long, here today.
Addressing a press conference, Abdul Majid Malik, president, All India Backward Classes Union criticized the State Government for not considering its demands despite having raised many a times through deputations and press conferences. He added, “we shall not request to the deaf and dumb Government but carry on our awareness programme among OBCs and not to follow any State political party which is against the State OBCs.
The Union decided to launch a programme to poll down such political parties particularly NC-lead Government in the coming Assembly election in 2014 and bring its strength to its lowest level from the existing one. They appealed the State OBCs to remains under one umbrella and be cautious from the sychophants also who are hell bent for satisfying their own aspirations and should pass on the Union’s message to the gross root level to uproot the nefarious design of the State Government.
The Main demands of the State OBCs included enhancement of reservation from 2% to 27%, Enhancement of creamy layer to Rs 9 lakh at par with Centre which has never been revised since 2004, one and only one certificate on the name of OBC, to renew the OBC certificate on the basis of income certificate instead of the bogus and illogical process as required for the fresh certificate, abolishing the income criteria for scholarships to the State OBC students at all educational level and other allied demands.
Those present in the press conference were Prof Kali Dass, Sandokh Chand, Shambu Parshad, Deep Malia, Rakesh Verma, Ramesh Kumar, Mouj Sharan, Darshan Kumar and others.
