NEW DELHI : Noisy scenes witnessed for a short while in the Lok Sabha with the AIADMK entering the well in protest against the government’s move of filing an appeal in connection with common entrance examination for medical admissions and the Congress stressing up on discussion over the issue of liquor baron Vijay Mallya.
The members from the two parties gave notices of adjournment over their respective issues and demanded an immediate discussion suspending the Question Hour. While the AIADMK members trooped into the well pressing up on their demand, the Congress members were speaking from their respective seats.
Speaker Sumitra Mahajan did not acknowledge their demands and proceeded with the Question Hour amid uproar. This continued for almost five minutes until the Chair ruled that she would allow them to speak in Zero Hour.
