JAMMU: Union Minister of State for Home affairs Hansraj Gangaram Ahir today visited BSF Border Outpost Chamliyal and took stock of operational preparedness on the International border.
He was welcomed at the BSF Post in force tradition by Ram Awtar, IG BSF, Jammu Frontier and other dignitaries. The IG BSF gave detailed briefing on the prevailing security scenario on Jammu Border, the various measures undertaken by BSF to strengthen the border protection, threat perception existing on International Borders and the existing border control and protection mechanism undertaken vis-a-vis the likely threats.
He discussed various issues with the field commanders also. (AGENCIES)
